Description

Innovative, Hands-on, Expert & Small Group Instruction

In a multi-age setting, rising 1st grade to rising 6th grade kids will learn through play how to design, build, program and compete with a variety of robotic equipment including the LEGO SUITE OF WEDO/BOOST/EV3/SPIKE ROBOTS, SPHERO, OZBOTS, MAKE BOTS & PARROT Drones.
In addition to building and interfacing with robots, students will learn to design and build various objects related to themes of exploration. We’ll use Tinkercad for 3D design and printing and DALLE-3 as an AI design tool.

HOW WE DO IT:
- Integrating playfulness, teamwork, engineering/design thinking skills, and creativity through the expressive arts and mindfulness.
- With personalized attention, each student will have ample opportunities to engage at whatever level of competency he/she comes with and advance to new levels by the end of the week.

THE RESULT:
- A fun week where kids connect with each other and discover how robots work and how they can help us improve our world.
- We incorporate a multi-disciplinary creative arts curriculum for self-expression and movement, to release stress and connect with our creative side.
- Students learn new skills and knowledge in Robotics technology, while growing resiliency and finding joy.

Our Arts-focused week will combine the visual arts and technology through photography. We'll explore mindful movement, drama and play.
